Keep your new mattress
in good condition by following these care guidelines:.
Please ensure that when delivery is made that the
mattress is placed in the correct room of your choice, as moving
a mattress can quite often cause damage to the spring unit and
damage the topper which could result in uncomfortable sleep.
Some mattresses should be turned and /or rotated
to help smooth out contours and equalize wear and tear that normally
occurs. Not all mattresses need this type of care,however, so
check with a bedding consultant to hear what is best for your
particular mattress.
Do not use the handles to support the full weight
of the mattress. Typically, handles are designed to help you position
the mattress over the bed base/frame. If used improperly, handles
may pull out and damage the fabric.
Vacuuming is the only recommended way to clean
a mattress and will help to remove dust, dust mites and dried
skin flakes that can accumulate in the padding. A quality, washable
mattress pad will help keep the mattresss free from stains, never
soak a mattress if you are determined to tackle a stain.
Twice a year, check for signs of wear and tear
to see if it might be time to invest in a new set. .
